The U.S. Space Force needs students with strong STEM skills in science, technology, engineering, and math. USSF hires highly specialized professionals called Civilian Guardians, who act as the scientific and technical brains behind the mission. These experts — including Aerospace Engineers, Computer Scientists, and Intelligence Specialists — are essential for designing satellites, protecting data, and solving complex space problems.

For the first time ever, Civilian Guardians were included in an intense, cutting-edge training program called Challenging Azimuth. This commitment shows that the Space Force is actively investing in the brightest civilian talent to ensure national security in the final frontier. Every math and science lesson learned in school today is directly preparing the next generation of problem solvers for these world-changing careers.
